At this time, I am not accepting referrals for private pay occupational therapy assessments or in-home services. If you are seeking this kind of evaluation, you are welcome to contact me. I am glad to talk through your situation and, when I can, help point you toward a provider who may be a good fit.
I continue to accept referrals for Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), which are available to families who disagree with a school district’s evaluation. You can read more about how I approach this work here.
LOOKING AHEAD
I am turning my attention to something I have wanted to build for a long time: theater-based social skills groups for neurodivergent children and teens. This work brings together my two areas of focus, occupational therapy and theater, into a single offering. My aim is to create groups where young people grow their social and self-regulation skills through drama, play, and performance, in a setting that feels less like a clinic and more like a creative ensemble.
I am not quite ready to launch, but I am building a list of families who would like to be the first to know. If this is something you would want for your child, please reach out and I will add you to my contact list.
Warm wishes,
Mr. Josh
